Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter everyone. I can't help but think of my mom today. The song she had requested to be sung at her service was one of her favorites we heard every Easter growing up at church. It is called "He's Alive," and indeed He is. Here are a few pictures from today.

Handle With Care!!

Joshua thought of a clever way to tag along with daddy on his business trips. Somehow, I think Gary would miss his golf clubs, though.

Dad's Day

This past Friday, Joshua's preschool had Dad's Day. They went on a field trip to the bowling alley and spent the morning bowling. After the field trip, Gary and Joshua went to an afternoon baseball game at one of the Spring Training facilities.

We're having a girl!

I went in for my 20 week ultrasound last week and everything looks good. I am very grateful that the baby is healthy and no problems were found. We decided to find out what we are having and it's a girl. We are very excited.

Happy 90th Birthday Grandpa!

My grandfather's 90th Birthday is today. There was a big party for him this past weekend in Wisconsin that I was able attend. It was a fun day. I enjoyed catching up with relatives that I had not seen in a while. I wish my mom would have been alive to enjoy the day as she was looking forward to her dad's milestone birthday.

Nurse Nathan

We have some relatives visiting from Wisconsin this weekend. They come every January to escape the snow and to get out and play some golf. Anyway, poor Tyson encountered a not so friendly Arizona cactus while looking for his golf ball. His leg was full of nasty little prickers. Nathan was helping with the flashlight, so Tyson could pick them all out.

Christmas 2008

My side of the family celebrated Christmas on December 28. It was my dad, our family, my sister Wendy's family, and my mom's best friend Karen and husband and daughter. It was a nice day, with a few tears shed as we remembered my mom. If you read my earlier posts, you might remember that my mom wanted her body donated for medical research. Duke University Medical Center accepted her donation. In her honor, we got my dad and the grandkids Duke shirts for Christmas.
