We had a busy, but fun weekend. We live in a cul-de-sac, and we had planned a BBQ for everyone that lives in our cul-de-sac. There were 7 families total and it was fun. We held it in our back yard. On Sunday we went to the Diamondbacks baseball game. It was fun. They were giving away Baxter bobble-head toothbrush holders, and Joshua really wanted one. They had been advertising the bobble-head the entire week prior, so Joshua knew what he was getting prior to the game. He kept saying the whole way there that he "really, really, really, wanted a toothbrush holder." Needless to say, we got there an hour and a half before the game, to ensure success, as there were only 5,000 to be given away. Both Joshua and Nathan now have a sudden interest in brushing their teeth. Baxter is the mascot for the Diamondbacks, for those of you not familiar with the baseball team.
Joshua started a week-long soccer camp at our church this week. It runs from 8:30 to 9:30 in the morning, so I'm glad that they hold it before it gets too hot. Today was his first day, but he seemed to really enjoy it.
